MediaStandard Print lays the foundation for smooth cooperation between customer, prepress service provider and printer during media production. It is based on international standards such as the ISO 12647 series.  The latest »Media Standard Print 2016« edition is the first set of guidelines in English to describe the consistent application of the standard offset printing conditions (ISO 12647-2) that were updated in 2013 to take into account the effect of optical brightening agents. It also offers a detailed treatment of the use of the CIEDE2000 colour difference formula, which became obligatory for digital proofs from October 2016 onwards (ISO 12647-7).
